1999年11月25日,在云南省澄江县发生了5.2级地震,宏观震中位于龙街镇的罗卜村与左所村之间,震中烈度Ⅵ度,极震区为北东向椭圆。这次地震发生在小江断裂
带带西支澄江-江川段。地震造成1人死亡,1人重伤,11人轻伤,2200人无家可归。总经济损失7650万元人民币1)。
澄江5.2级地震为主震-余震型,最大余震ML3.8级,余震衰减基本正常,余震区长轴为北东向。震源机制解中节面Ⅱ走向北东29°。极震区长轴与震源机制解中节面Ⅱ走向基本一致,因此,节面Ⅱ可能是这次地震的主破裂面。本次地震是在北西向主压应力作用下NE向断裂发生左旋错动的结果,小江断裂带西支阳宗-澄江断裂为发震构造。
震中200km范围内共有地震台(点)38个,其中开展测震观测台21个,定点前兆观测台(点)32个,有水氡、高精度水温、水汞、水准、地磁、地电13个观测项目5.2级地震前出现了8个异常观测项目13项次异常。这些异常中短期异常占多数。
这次地震发生前,云南省地震预报中心曾有不同程度的短临预测预报意见。
Abstract
On Nov. 25, 1999, an earthquake of MS5.2 occurred in Chengjiang county in Yunnan province. The macroseismic epicenter was located between Luobo village and Zuosuo village, Longjie town. The intensity at the epicenter was Ⅵ and the meizoseismal area was elliptic with major axis in NE direction. The earthquake occurred on the Chengjiang-Jiangchuan section of the Xiaojiang fault. 1 person was killed, 1 person was severely injured, 11 persons were slightly wounded and 2200 were homeless. The total economic loss was 76.50 million Yuan.
The MS5.2 Chengjiang earthquake was of mainshock-aftershock type with the largest aftershock of ML3.8, and the aftershock attenuation was normal in general. The major axis of the aftershock area was in NE direction. The focal mechanism solution indicates that the azimuth of the nodal planeⅡwas 29°, which was consistent with the direction of the major axis of the meizoseismal area. It suggests that the nodal planeⅡmight be the main rupture plane of this earthquake. The earthquake was the result of the left lateral slip on the fault in NE direction under the action of the principal compressive stress in NW direction. The seismogenic geological structure was the Yangzong-Chengjiang fault, which is the west branch of the Xiaojiang fault.
Within the distance of 200km from the epicenter, there were 38 seismic stations. Among them, there were 21 seismometric stations and 32 precursory observation stations with 13 observation items such as observations on radon content in groundwater, Hg content in groundwater, leveling, geomagnetism, geoelectricity and high precision water temperature observation. Before the MS5.2 earthquake, there were 13 anomalies in 8 observation items. Among them, the mid-term and short-term anomalies were in the majority.
Before the earthquake, the earthquake prediction center of Seismological Bureau of Yunnan province made short-term and imminent forecastings in certain degree. |
