括括广西环江县和贵州荔波县的部分乡镇,烈度达Ⅵ度强。Ⅵ度区内约63%的房屋损坏,其中震毁房屋35间,中等以上程度损坏的房屋4540间。地震导
致2人致2人受伤,无家可归者达256人。该次地震造成广西境内直接经济损失1970万元人民币,间接经济损失602万元人民币。
环江4.9级地震序列为主震-余震型;地震序列衰减极快,全序列仅9次地震活动。地震序列空间分布近南北向。震源机制解的节面Ⅰ走向北北西,P轴方位293°。判定节面Ⅰ为该次地震的主破裂面,系左旋错动走滑断层。
距震中200km范围内分布有10个地震台,其中测震单项观测台5个,水位单项观测台2个,测震和前兆观测综合台3个。震前共观测到14项异常。地震活动空间或时间扫描分析方法显示震前有应变释放、缺震、b值、η值、GL值、集中度C值、小震调制比、算法复杂性C(n)、Ac值和ML≥3.5 级地震时间间隔dt值等13项异常。前兆观测仅有地磁1项异常。上述异常均系中期异常,并具有一定的同步性。
Abstract
An earthquake of MS4.9 occurred at 11:13:26.7, Apr.16, 1998 in Huanjiang county of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region. Its epicenter was located on the Shuiyuan-Mulun fault in NW direction in Huanjiang county. The major axis of the isoseismal lines was in NNW direction. The meizoseismal area covered some villages and towns in Huanjiang county and Libo county in Guizhou province and the intensity in the area was slightly larger thanⅥ. The earthquake damaged houses of 63% in the area of intensity Ⅵ, among them 35 houses were destroyed and 4540 houses were severely damaged. 2 persons were wounded and 256 were homeless because of this earthquake. The direct economic loss for Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region was 19.7 million Yuan, and the indirect economic loss was 6.02 million Yuan.
The MS4.9 Huanjiang earthquake was of mainshock-aftershock type. The earthquake sequence decayed very rapidly and only 9 earthquakes occurred in the whole sequence. The earthquakes distributed in nearly NS direction. The nodal planeⅠin the focal mechanism solution of the earthquake was in NNW direction, and the azimuth of the P axis was 293°. The nodal planeⅠwas the rupture plane of this earthquake with left-lateral strike slip on the fault.
Within 200km from the epicenter, there were 10 seismic stations. Among them there were 5 stations only with seismometric observation, 2 stations with observation on groundwater level, and 3 stations with comprehensive precursory and seismometric observations. There were 14 anomalies for the event. The analysis of seismic activity showed 13 anomalies before the earthquake, including anomalies in strain release, earthquake deficiency, b-value, η-value, GL-value, concentration degree C-value, regulatory ratio of small earthquakes, algorithm complexity C(n) and Ac, and the time interval (dt) of ML≥3.5 earthquakes etc. The precursory observations showed only one anomaly in geomagnetism. All these anomalies were mid-term anomalies with synchronization of development in certain degree. |
